While visible from all corners of Dublin, Poolbeg inspires me most as seen from along the coast road, from Dollymount towards Clontarf. Under so many different skies, and with all the hustle and bustle of industry surrounding the chimneys, it’s a view that is constantly evolving, yet instantly familiar as home. From crane lights, to the distant glow of houses on the mountains when the daylight dies down, this is an area that burns with life, even while the city sleeps.
