Frequently Asked Questions

What is the different between an original and a giclee print?

An original painting is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art, painted by hand by the artist, and a print is a high-quality reproduction of the artwork; a copy. All the prints you see on this website are giclee prints, meaning they are created using specialist inks and paper types, to produce a gallery-standard, long-lasting work, which is more resistant to fade and light alteration.

How can I commission a piece?

I open a number of commission slots each year. If you are interested in commissioning a painting, you can submit an enquiry form through my contact page.

Where can I view your work in person?

If you’d like to view my work in person, you can sign up to my Mail Club to hear about upcoming pop-ups, markets and events. If you are interested in a particular piece and would like to view before purchasing, you can email me at paleyellowpalette@gmail.com to arrange a viewing.

I also have a selection of prints stocked in a number of cafes and shops in the North Dublin area. If you’re looking for a stockist near you, or are interested in stocking my work, you can contact me on Instagram or email me at paleyellowpalette@gmail.com

Do you provide framing?

If you would like your piece framed, but can’t see an option to add framing at checkout, you can send me a message. While I only keep a limited selection of frames in stock due to studio space, I am always happy to organise framing where possible. Processing time for print framing is usually 2-5 days, and for canvas framing, 1-3 weeks depending on size.
